Hasan Ali wishes to bowl against Virat Kohli

Top ranked One-Day International (ODI) bowler Hasan Ali has expressed on Wednesday that he wants to bowl to celebrated Indian skipper Virat Kohli. He gave these remarks during a kit unveiling ceremony of Punjabi Legends, a franchise of T-10 format game.
During a media interaction, Hasan Ali said that every bowler wants to pitch deliveries to the top-level batsmen around the world. “He is a good batsman,” Ali said adding that he wishes to bowl Kohli.
The pacer further said that he did face Kohli once earlier during a Champions Trophy 2017 match however, he said, the batsman was sent back to the pavilion in the second match before his spell could begin.
Also present on the occasion, former national captain Shoaib Malik said that he returned yesterday to Pakistan after celebrating his wife, Indian tennis star Sania Mirza’s birthday.
He said that he boarded a flight back to Pakistan after hours-long stay with wife because he had a professional commitment to play a match .
Statement of the top ODI bowler has come amidst tensions between India and Pakistan cricket boards as the former went back on its word after committing to play a series.
Recently, another Pakistan-India cricket interaction surfaced when Kohli appreciated Mohammad Amir in one of his interviews. Kohli expressed that Amir is one of the toughest bowlers he has faced in his career so far.
It is worth mentioning here that Mohammad Amir trapped Virat Kohli twice in two deliveries in the final of ICC Champions Trophy, the last time these two greats of the game faced each other.
Soon after the interview was aired, Mohammad Amir responded to the compliment by acknowledging that he needs to do his best to get Kohli out.
