No harm in accepting resignations if it improves situation: Raja Zafar-ul-Haq

There is no harm in accepting resignations from federal government ministers if the move improves law and order situation in the country, Senator Raja Zafar-ul-Haq said on Sunday.
However, he added, some people fear the protesters’ demands will increase if resignations are taken.
But the senator said efforts were made to hold talks with the Faizabad protesters.
Raja Zafar-ul-Haq  said a detailed session was held between him and the protesters. During the session formation of a committee [for negotiations] and other matters were discussed, he added.
Haq is heading the committee formed earlier by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Nawaz Sharif to fix the responsibility for the introduction of a controversial amendment to the Finality of Prophethood declaration for electoral candidates.
Besides  Raja Zafar-ul-Haq , Federal Minister for Interior Affairs Ahsan Iqbal and Minister for Climate Change Mushahidullah Khan are also part of the committee.
