Javed Hashmi meets Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad

Ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday held meeting with senior political leader Javed Hashmi and gave him green signal to rejoin Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
Nawaz Sharif warmly welcomed Hashmi by hugging him. Sources told that Javed Hashmi will formally announce his return to PML-N during rally in Multan.
Maryam Nawaz, Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal and Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique were also present in the meeting.
Earlier, Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shehbaz Sharif discussed to invite Javed Hashmi to rejoin PML-N. They also took reservations of other party members including Kulsoom Nawaz over this matter into consideration.
According to the sources within the Sharif family, Javed Hashmi did not honor the insistence of Kalsoom Nawaz to stay in PML-N when he decided to join PTI.
It is worth mentioning here that Javed Hashmi had earlier served as vice president of PML-N. The veteran politician left the party in December 2011 and joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Hashmi remained in PTI till October 2014 but left it after having differences with party chairman Imran Khan during the Islamabad sit-in.
