Hasan Ali, Mohammad Hafeez maintain top places in ICC ODI player rankings

Pakistani pacer Hasan Ali has maintained his top spot in the ICC ODI Bowling Rankings with 759 points, ahead of South African leg-spinner Imran Tahir at number two with 743 points.
Mohammad Hafeez, on the other hand, has remained on number one in the ICC ODI All-Rounder Rankings with 352 points to his name. Hafeez maintained his ranking despite the suspension of his bowling action in the recent time. He is followed by Bangladeshi star Shakib Al Hasan with 345 points.
Both Hasan Ali and Hafeez have stuck to their rankings. In the ICC ODI Batting Rankings, Babar Azam is at number four. Indian talented batsmen Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have occupied the first and fifth spots respectively.
In the absence of Kohli, Indian skipper Sharma scored his third double century in the second ODI against Sri Lanka and rose to the number five.
Hafeez and Hasan Ali had climbed to the top spots two months ago after Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka in the ODI series. Hasan Ali’s haul of five for 34 in the third ODI against Sri Lanka helped his side win by seven wickets for a decisive 3-0 lead in the five-match series. Later on, Hafeez was slapped with suspension for illegal action after he failed to clear the bowling test.
