One should not be afraid of speaking truth: Maryam Nawaz

Maryam Nawaz, the daughter of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, said on Tuesday that one should not be afraid of speaking the truth.
She expressed her views when a journalist asked about her comments over being featured on New York Times’ powerful women list.
Captain (retd.) Safdar also spoke to media and maintained that organizations should work while remaining in the jurisdiction of the constitution.
“Politicians do not need a clean chit from the courts. Decision against Nawaz Sharif on July 8 became a mockery of Pakistan in the whole world,” he said.
While predicting PML-N chief’s victory in 2018, Safdar asserted that Imran Khan will again remain empty-handed.
Nawaz Sharif along with his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Captain (retd) Safdar reappeared in the accountability court today in connection with three corruption references filed against him by National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
