Annie and Sivasangari into final of CAS Women squash championships

Top seed Annie Au from Hongkong survived a tiring battle against young Egyptian Rowan Elaraby to save her place in final of CAS Women championships. The Young Malaysian talent Sivasangari Subhramaniam also saved her place in finals after beating Australian Rachael Grinham.
This amazing match was witnessed by many squash fans and former world champion Jahangir Khan.
The Men’s quarterfinals of Pakistan open also provided very thrilling matches as top seed Marwan El Shorbagy of Egypt went to beat his country mate Mazen Hesham in straight sets to confirm his place in semi finals, his amazing speed,strength and agility was on the top as he went to win quite easily.
The second quarterfinal was played between Malaysian Eain Yow Ng. and world number 24 Zahed Mohammed from Egypt, it was not easy for Zahed to stop his opponent from getting points but after a thrilling match the winner was Zahed as he also confirmed his place in semi final, another quarterfinal went into favor of Muhammed Aboulgher as he clinched victory after beating Malaysian Adnan.
The semifinals of Pakistan open will take place at Mushaf sqaush complex Islamabad on 22nd of december and final on 23rd.
The world number 4 Marwan Elshorbagy also praises the efforts of PSF and Pakistan air force for organizing such a great event he also told us ” i would love to be here again as i really enjoyed my first tour to Pakistan, especially i liked the food and hospitality”.
