Babar Azam 26-Ball Ton, Shoaib Malik 6 Sixes in an Over

T10 cricket is the latest trend and it has caught the eye of many around the globe. The 10-over a side format gain the attention recently when the first ever T10 Cricket League was played in the UAE. Likewise, a charity match in the same format was hosted by former Pakistan cricket captain Shahid Afridi’s foundation and it was the exploits of Babar Azam and Shoaib Malik which stole the show.
Both the players shine with the bat as Malik smashed 6 sixes in an over off Azam’s bowling, to help his team SAF Reds score 210 runs in 10 overs. While in response Azam thrashed a century in 26 balls as his team SAF Green chased down the target with nine wickets in hand.

Babar thrashed 11 super sixes and 7 boundaries and maintained the outstanding strike rate of 384.62. Earlier, the swashbuckling batsman was even compared to Virat Kohli by Pakistan’s coach Mickey Arthur. However, Azam, who scored 46 runs off 52 balls in Pakistan’s ICC Champions Trophy 2017 title win over arch-rival India, told ESPNCricinfo that he shouldn’t be compared to such a “big player” and claimed that Kohli is “the No.1 batsman in the world”.
