Corps Commanders’ Conference discuss input for NSC meeting

The Corps Commanders’ Conference held at the Army General Headquarters on Tuesday reviewed the evolving geo-strategic environment and internal security situation, according to the ISPR.
Corps Commanders’ Conference held at GHQ Rawalpindi today hours before National Security Committee meeting. Evolving geo-strategic environment and internal security situation reviewed. Forum also discussed input for NSC meeting scheduled later today.
National Security Committee is also scheduled for today. Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will chair the meeting. The agenda will primarily focus on US President Donald Trump’s tweet regarding Pakistan. The top civilian and military leadership of the country will attend the meeting.

 Earlier the cabinet meeting was scheduled on Tuesday and National Security Meeting was scheduled on Wednesday, however Federal Cabinet meeting date and time was changed from Tuesday to Wednesday. On the other hand, NSC, which was earlier scheduled on Wednesday, has been rescheduled for today.
