Bank in Karachi robbed again, lockers of jewellery looted

A security guard along with his companions, on Monday, managed to break 25 lockers, of a government bank located in the port city.
According to news, the lockers were full of jewellery and incident took place in Karachi’s Rizvia Society. The accused used a gas cylinder and iron rods to loot the bank, but thankfully, were unable to get to the cash.
The security guard involved in the robbery was hired only three days prior to the incident, from a private security company. The robbers, however, managed to successfully flee the scene after looting the bank despite bank security.
Police personnel have started investigating the crime and collecting information from the security company. The other guard of the bank has also been taken into custody for interrogation.
In August last year, the manager of a local bank was shot dead in a bid to foil a bank robbery within the limits of the Ferozabad police station.
