Punjab CM visits surgical tower, expresses satisfaction on latest machinery

Punjab CM Shehbaz Sharif visited the surgical tower in Lahore’s Mayo Hospital made of worth Rs 1.1 billion for the provision of modern health and medical facilities in the metropolitan.
Shehbaz expressed satisfaction at the installation of latest machinery and equipment. The high-end operation theatres will include latest machinery for the treatment of ill.
The six-floor surgical tower will be made 100 percent infection free. The chief minister visited the burn centre ward, ICU and treatment room. He saw the hyper therapy and shower room within the burn unit.
Punjab CM directed to appoint qualified doctors and staff for anesthesia. He praised the role of doctors and staff working within the surgical tower for the provision of health facilities.
Later on Punjab CM visited the swimming complex where he congratulated the residents over establishment of the state of the art International Swimming Pool in the provincial capital. “(It) offers world class swimming facilities. If you have what it takes to outshine in this sport and bring a laurel to the country, join it. We are here to facilitate you,” he said.
