Imran to file petition in SC for early hearing of case against Kh Asif

While tagging Khawaja Asif as security risk for country, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s chief Imran Khan on Thursday has announced to file petition in country’s top court aimed at early hearing of the case against foreign minister Asif.
Khan took to popular micro-blogging website Twitter to make the announcement.

We are petitioning SC for an early hearing of the case against Kh Asif as he is a grave security risk in the sensitive office he holds. He has a foreign domicile, works for a foreign concern, receives salary from abroad & has foreign bank accts – all of which he did not declare.

Earlier, PTI wrote a letter to Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for money laundering investigation against Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif.
The letter penned down by PTI member Usman Dar saya that Asif is involved in money laundering and financial crimes.
It maintains that irrefutable evidence of money laundering are present as millions of rupees have been transferred to the minister’s and his wife’s foreign accounts.
Suspected and unidentified transactions have been made to the foreign accounts, adds the letter.
