Naqeebullah murder: PM Abbasi assures Mehsud delegation of justice

As the Mehsud tribe’s sit-in at the National Press club continued for the sixth day, a 15-member delegation of the tribe met Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, said a spokesperson for the Prime Minister’s House.
The sit-in is being staged for the arrest of suspended police official Rao Anwar, who is accused of extrajudicial of killing Waziristan native Naqeebullah. who was killed along with three others in a fake encounter in Karachi on January 13.
The delegation demanded the immediate arrest of the culprits involved in the extrajudicial killing of Naqeebullah.
During the meeting, the premier assured the delegation that all resources would be used to arrest Anwar as it issue is not merely a provincial matter but a matter of the state.
The premier also added that all requirements of justice would be fulfilled in the case and a college in Waziristan will be built which will be named after the slain Waziristan native.
The meeting also discussed the issues faced by the tribal people and was attended by governor KP and Ameer Muqam.
