KPK Helicopter Case: Five Witnesses Testify Against Imran

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) recorded statements of five government officers over Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairperson Imran Khan’s use of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government helicopter.
According to details, NAB recorded statements of four administration officers and civil aviation officer.
Moreover, administration department also submitted a list comprising names of people who have travelled in the helicopter. Other documents showed that the helicopter was purchased on November 22, 2007.
On March 15, the NAB has gathered details against Imran for illegal and misuse of Khyber Puhktunkhwa helicopter after recording statements of three officials of Secretariat.
According to sources, NAB officials have recorded statements of three Secretariat cadre officials of KP over the misuse of state owned helicopter by PTI chairman Imran Khan and claimed to have vital information against Imran.
Sources also informed that NAB officials have also summonned secretary establishment following the secretary administration.
It is learnt that on February 20 NAB has initiated inquiry against Imran Khan for misuse of KP government.
The committee investigating the personal use of KPK official helicopters by Imran khan has learnt that the PTI chairman travelled for 74 hours on MI171 and Ecurial helicopters owned by KPK government.
The committee headed by Naveed Haider comprises a legal consultant, a helicopter expert, a case officer and other officers. Chairman NAB took notice of the issue on Feb 2nd.
