Dastagir Warns of Befitting Response To Any Enemy Attack

Defence Minister Khurram Dastagir on Tuesday give a clear message to those against the homeland saying that the armed forces and the masses are aware of their responsibilities to safeguard the independence and sovereignty and would safeguard every inch of the homeland.
He said that any attack on Pakistani soil would get a befitting response. He said that country is preparing to celebrate the Pakistan Day with passion and enthusiasm.Pakistan is preparing for 23rd March parade that would be held in Islamabad on Pakistan Day.
Pakistan Day marks the passing of the Lahore Resolution, when a separate nation for the Muslims of The British Indian Empire was demanded on March 23, 1940, in Lahore.Timings for flights headed to and departing Islamabad between March 12-22 have been revised to allow Pakistan Air Force jets to rehearse for the 23rd March Pakistan Day parade.
Earlier this week, the army advised passengers to confirm the revised flight timings beforehand in order to “avoid any inconvenience” since Islamabad’s airspace will remain closed from 8am-12: 40 pm and 2:30-4pm for the next 10 days, which would disturb the flight schedule.
Last year special features of the parade were the participation of Peoples Liberation Army (PLA) China’s Tri-Services and Saudi Special Force’s contingents and Turkish Jannisary Military band (Mehteran)”.South African National Defence Force, General Solly Zacharia will also witness the parade among other dignitaries.
Pakistani armed forces display nuclear-capable weapons, tanks, jets, drones and other weapons systems in the Pakitan Day parade.
