Army Chief Meets Naqeeb’s Father, Ensures Support to Get Justice

The Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa met with Naqeebullah’s father in Makeen on Thursday and ensured him all out military support in getting justice.
Naqeebullah Mehsoon was killed in alleged police encounter that sparked social media and later electronic media that led suspension of SSP Malir Rao Anwar and other police officials who were involved in fake encounter.
According to military media wing ISPR, Army Chief visited South Waziristan and inaugurated two uplift projects in Wana and makeen. The projects have been executed by Pakistan Army engineers in collaboration with the government.During his visit he met with Naqeebullah father, condoled and offered fatiha and ensured full army support to let him get the justice over his son killing, ISPR said.
Speaking to the tribal elders on the occasion Army chief said taht having lived through very difficult times during the terrorism operations we are now in the phase of stability and development.“Not to allow anyone to jeopardize the peace attained at very heavy cost in blood and national exchequer,” he urged tribal people.
He mentioned that earliest mainstreaming of FATA to the popular aspirations of the lcoal tribes is the essential for its progress and enduring stability.
Army chief acknowledged tribal people for their full support army and their resolve to maintain and strengthen the gains.
