PTI emerged as the most popular party: Mehmood Qureshi

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi says PTI requires 149 votes in all to form government in Punjab, whereas the party has already reached the figure of 164.
Briefing media regarding today’s meeting of PTI’s Punjab Parliamentary Party in Islamabad, he said hopefully PTI will cross above 180 figure.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said PTI emerged as the most popular party at national as well as Punjab level in the general elections 2018.
He said the PTI Chairman Imran Khan met with newly elected members of Punjab Assembly and discussed with them the current challenges.
He informed the new members that 2018 election is as unique as 1937 and 1970 elections were in their times.
He said people have expressed full confidence over the manifesto and policies of PTI and rejected the politics of nepotism, corruption and bad governance.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said PTI has changed the status quo in Punjab by routing the parties that had a firm grip on power in the province for the last four decades.
