Chairman NAB To Initiate Inquiry Into Brigadier (R) Asad Munir’s Suicide

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has decided to launch an inquiry into former member of Capital Development Authority (CDA) Brigadier (Retd) Asad Munir’s alleged suicide.
NAB Chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal has sought all relevant record at NAB Rawalpindi.
A notification has also been issued in this regard stating that the NAB will itself investigation into the suicide of Asad Munir.
The NAB chairman has taken the decision to investigate the suicide.
Earlier, Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Asif Saeed Khosa had taken suo motu notice of his alleged suicide.
Brigadier (r) Asad Munir was found dead at Diplomatic Enclave in Islamabad on March 15.
Police hinted the death as suspected suicide as Asad Munir was worried for an ongoing investigation against him by the NAB.
The ex-CDA member was facing allegations for restoring of plots in F-11 area of the Federal capital.
